Stallion Nomination Form (2008 foals will be eligible)
We would like you to consider nominating your stallion to make
any of his foals eligible for this event. The fee of $150 is easily
offset by the free entry of one foal into the futurity plus advertising
on our website. For full exposure please be sure to include your
website address if you have one so visitors can move on to your
own little corner of the worldwide web. Advertising dollars will
also be spent purchasing ads in popular magazine(s) so your stallion
will be exposed to a significant circulation of subscribers. Nominations
paid immediately at the beginning of each year, assures you of
getting the most for your advertising dollar.
RULES & REGULATIONS

Nominated
stallions must be APHA or AQHA approved.

Weanling futurity for 2008 will consist of two classes split
into early and late. The split date will be determined after
ALL entries have been received. This will be after 7:00
pm the night before the Select Futurity show date. PLEASE
NOTE NEW DEADLINE FOR LATE ENTRIES: Late entries
will be accepted up until 7:00 pm the night before the Select
Futurity Show date and substitutions will be accepted up until
7:00 pm the night before the Select Futurity Show date. A vet
certificate must be supplied for original entry in order for
a substitution to be allowed.

Foals must be registered Paint or Solid Paint Bred. Copy of
the registration papers must be presented prior to the foals
class or the entry will be forfeited. Verification of registration
processing by means of a WO# from APHA,
will be accepted to allow foal to show. However, no monies will
be paid out if the registration papers or proof of registration
delay is not submitted by December 31st of the year
shown. Winnings will be officially forfeited if SPHC has not
received the above paperwork on or before December 31st
of the year the foal was shown.

Stallion nomination fee (without late penalty) is $150. Stallion
owner will receive one free foal entry per nominated stallion,
from a mare owned by him at the time of breeding or a foal owned
by him at the time of registration. $50 of the nomination fee
will be used for advertising expenses.

Stallion Nomination Forms must be included with payment of nomination
fees in order to process your entry.

5% of the total purse will be paid out to the owner of the stallion
siring the foal(s) winning the most money.

All foals from nominated stallions are eligible to be shown
at a nomination fee of $100 postmarked on or before September
15th, 2008.

Entry fees must accompany entries or the entry will be considered
late and dealt with accordingly.

Late
entries will be accepted up until 7:00 pm the night before
the foals are to be shown for an additional $100 late fee, over
and above the primary entry fee of $100. This brings the total
fee for a late entry to $200.

Substitutions
of original foal entries will be accepted up until 7:00 pm
the night before the foals are to be shown. A vet certificate
for original entry must accompany substitution entry.

All
futurity entry monies are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Anyone other than the stallion owner wanting to nominate a stallion
may do so with written permission signed by the stallion owner.
A copy of the written permission must be given to the SPHC at
the time of nomination. Stallion owner rules will then apply
to the person nominating the stallion. All nominated stallion
owners must be current member of the SPHC. Anyone nominating
a stallion or futurity entry must hold a current SPHC membership
also.

All stallions must be nominated on or before February 15 of
the foaling year, or by June 1 of the foaling year with payment
of late penalty, in order for these foals to be eligible to
show.

All stallion nomination fees are non-refundable unless a vet
certificate is provided to the SPHC prior to breeding any mares.
