Due to lack of participation, the following futurities will be
discontinued at the Harvest of Colours Fall Show: Select Weanling
Futurities and the Paint By Numbers. NOTE: The Paint By Numbers
however, will continue for the 2009 paid entries. Open Weanling
Futurities will replace the Select Weanling Futurity. The Board
is visiting new ideas for other futurities. KEEP CHECKING BACK

~ The SPHC Website will be undergoing a new facelift in the near future. Tracey Robinson will be maintaining the website and is working on the development of a new look. We will continue with the existing site until the new changes are ready. We welcome any suggestions and/or feedback! If you have any special photos you would like considered for the new site, please email them to: tdrobinson@sasktel.net ~ your photos can be used for SPHC banners, posters and slideshows that are intended to highlight the beauty of the Paint Horse breed and the special relationship between you and your horses. ~

Talented young photographer recognized by American Junior
Paint Horse Association
FORT WORTH, TEXAS—Audra Robyn Cooper of West Bend, Saskatchewan
recently earned recognition for her photography by the American
Junior Paint Horse Association (AjPHA).
Cooper received first place in the 13 and Under Division of the
annual AjPHA photography contest. Her photo, entitled Snow Princess,
depicts a bay overo against a beautiful winter backdrop of snow
and ice. For her efforts, Cooper received a digital camera and
her photo will be featured in an upcoming issue of Generation
J, the American Junior Paint Horse Association’s member
magazine.
